March 20, 2016- This is the week that we consider the start of Addis Jemari. Executive Director, Cindy Douglass, and Director of Operations, Suzanne Ward traveled to Ethiopia this week to meet with the girls who would be the first participants of the Addis Jemari program. There were nerves on both ends, but God began a story that day, weaving the lives of teenage Ethiopian girls with Cindy and Suzanne. We talked, laughed and dreamed together about what Addis Jemari would look like and all that God would do through this ministry!
