We are pleased to have Leila Shikur join our AJ staff in Ethiopia as our current social worker! She was born in Nazareth, which is south of Addis Ababa. She enjoys helping others and seeing them rise to their potential. Leila obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Adama University in 2007 and her Master’s Degree in Geography and Environmental Study from Addis Ababa University in 2012. She is currently pursuing her second Masters degree in counseling at Grace College. She is very happy to have the opportunity to serve the girls in the AJ program and came on board with us in January of 2018. She believes that Addis Jemari will help contribute to the improvement of the community and voices she is glad to be part of the #AJFamily.
