Since English is the primary language spoken in secondary school, when our AJ Girls selected their latest summer reading books, we encouraged them to choose books written in English. Reading books in English versus Amharic will help our girls retain their English speaking skills so they are ready to begin the new school year! Upon completion of each book, our girls are giving a report detailing their understanding of the story. Reading is such a wonderful pastime! #nationalbookloversday
