Our AJ Girls and staff have been continuing their study of The Book of Jonah and learning more about God’s redemption. In Jonah 2:1-10, Jonah prayed for forgiveness when he was in the whale’s belly, repenting from his sin of refusing to do what he knew he should do and what God wanted him to do.
God redeemed the situation by having the whale deposit Jonah precisely where he should have been all along. Our girls and staff in Ethiopia enjoyed learning more about God through the story of Jonah and were inspired to learn more about the never-ending, always redeeming love of God!
