Today we are celebrating the amazing women in our Family Empowerment Program (FEP). We celebrate them, and their hearts and determination to become self-sustaining women for themselves, their children and for future generations to come. The mothers in our FEP program open their minds to new concepts such as values, goal setting and learning the importance of developing self-confidence. With determination, these strong women are opening up to these concepts and trusting in our program, all the while fighting to break the cycle of generational poverty.
As these courageous women rise, they are determined to overcome much, such as mental and emotional roadblocks. They grow, showing up for themselves, their children, the future generations of their families, and all of Ethiopia. They are beginning to see themselves as the beloved women of God they are, and they are beginning to understand their value through His eyes. These women are our trailblazers in the battle against generational poverty. These women, who we set out to encourage, educate, and empower, do the same for us every day.
