Ethiopia celebrated its 🌼 New Year this past weekend (they use the Julian calendar), and it was a wonderful few days at our AJ Home! 💛
There was much preparation for New Years, and the days leading up to the holiday were spent cooking and cleaning and getting ready for the special day. Our AJ girls were gifted holiday dresses from a special US donor, and man, did they look beautiful! A wonderful feast was prepared mostly by the AJ Girls themselves (we are so proud) and everyone had a wonderful time talking about the year to come, their goals, hopes and dreams. Nothing says holidays like family, and we are so happy our AJ Family in Ethiopia got to spend New Year’s together. #bettertogether #AJFamily
