Join us in sending some virtual hugs and high fives to our extraordinary Educational Coordinator in Ethiopia, Asrat! Her dedication to the children in our program enabled them to keep up on their studies during the nine month COVID school shut down in Ethiopia. Asrat found creative ways to engage the kid’s minds and keep their minds sharp and ready when school would start again. Since the shutdown also affected the national exam testing dates, she ensured the 8th and 12th graders in our program continued to study for their exams to be ready as soon as new dates were announced.
