Enrichment is the action of improving or enhancing the quality or value of something.
The #AJGirls and staff will be doing just that as we travel to Bahir Dar later this summer on an enrichment trip. Bahir Dar is in the Northern part of Ethiopia. It is a beautiful city filled with much history and culture. You will find both Lake Tana and the Blue Nile Falls located there.
We will spend time on Lake Tana visiting the many monasteries and historic sites, hike up to see the Blue Nile Falls and spend time exploring the city. We believe here at AJ that learning is empowering and seeing the beautiful pieces of the Ethiopian history and culture allows for understanding and knowledge.
We will spend time for reflection and rest, a time for building and dreaming, and a time of gathering for family. Our AJ Family grew so close together during our summer enrichment trip last year, and our prayer is for those bonds to continue to grow and flourish! This trip helps us continue to enhance and enrich the lives of the girls and staff we get to love and serve everyday.
