Family Empowerment Program (FEP)
A Three-Year Program to End Generational Poverty
The goal of FEP is to end the cycle of poverty for severely impoverished families in Ethiopia, who often earn less than $2 per day. Through a deeply relational approach to case management, our social workers and staff work together to meet each family’s basic needs while guiding them toward self-sufficiency and long-term sustainability.
Year 1
Case management begins with trust—using baseline assessments and regular follow-up to understand each family’s needs and shape individualized plans as they enter the program.
