🎉 Good news, AJ Family…we expect the schools that our AJ Girls and FEP children attend in Ethiopia will start back in the next few weeks after a long closing, due to Covid-19. 🎉
This news comes just in time as our AJ Girls have wrapped up their summer 🌞 📚 reading challenge. Throughout the summer, each of our six girls read two books a month, wrote a short book report, and shared their main takeaway from each book they read. Below we have shared with you a few of the comments from the girls’ most recent book reports. If you have read any of these books, we would love to hear from you in the comments below.
“We have to have unity with diversity.” Guinea Dog
“My understanding of this book is whatever happens in our lives shouldn’t stop us from anything. We should break through and move on.” The Last Time I Was Me.
“These books are all so inspirational. It may not sound like a very good book about a kid being the President, but it is. This book teaches you about responsibility and the successes you can have.” The Kid Who Became President
