Many of those in our programs face monumental emotional hurdles, due to the effect of generational poverty. To break the cycle of generational poverty, we need to break through the emotional defenses and limiting self-beliefs our benefactors have naturally created due to living in extreme poverty for most of their lives. This type of emotional healing comes from working with a trusted professional who can work with you over an extended period. This is why we are asking for your support this #GivingTuesday in securing the funds needed to hire a psychologist to work directly with our FEP families for 20 hours/week in the areas of trauma, abuse and grief.
