“When I enter the Family Empowerment Center, I feel free, I feel comfort, and have no worries. I know when my son knows that we are going to the FEP Center that he is going to be happy. I’ve learned through the training and counseling at the Center about patience, and that if I face bad or difficult people, I don’t have to act the way they do. The training and counseling have helped my communication skills. I’ve started to plan and save now for the future. In the past when I would earn money, I would not be able to sleep because I would just want to spend it. Now I know the value of saving it.”
