Social distancing can be difficult for our Family Empowerment Program families, due to the fact that many of them live communally within compounds they share with other families. Shared latrines and sinks within these compounds are also common, as well as the need to travel (sometimes a great distance) outside of their compounds to bring water home.
Making sure our families have essential supplies like soap, washing detergent and access to clean water is so vitally needed to help our families remain healthy during this global pandemic. It also helps stop the spread in the communities where they live and work.
