One of Addis Jemari’s five core values is Financial Literacy. We follow a specific curriculum, based on Biblical principles, and specifically created for AJ. It is taught in the AJ Home and will be taught to our Family Empowerment families as well. The AJ Girls receive monthly allowances, a percentage of which they are required to save in a personal savings account. We teach our girls to budget for “wants versus needs.” The importance of saving more than spending is taught so our girls will be self-sufficient in the future. The same will be done for our FEP families.
