In June, our AJ Girls and staff went on a nine-hour road trip to the western side of the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia to visit Arba Minch. This trip has been voted as the favorite of all the summer enrichment trips thus far. The group experienced an abundance of wildlife, enjoyed eating new types of fish and fruits that are native to this region of Ethiopia. But the most impactful part of the trip was the uninterrupted time everyone spent together growing as a family through shared experiences and meaningful conversations.
