AJ believes in education. This is why we place a large emphasis on helping the adults in our Family Empowerment Program (FEP) to gain the job skills and training they need to become sustainable for themselves, allowing them to care and provide for their children. Did you know we have 101 school aged children in our FEP program? One area we are fighting currently is to see every child in the home educated. We do this by offsetting their living costs and providing school materials & fees for every child in our programs. In Ethiopia children must have their school uniforms, shoes and backpack with supplies to attend. In the future we will provide additional tutoring and opportunities for further success. Through education, financial literacy and job skills, we are enabling our families to end the cycle of generational poverty that plagues their communities, once and for all.
