Made in Ethiopia, these earrings are hand cut from scrap material from the leather industry by female artisans earning a living wage. Our partner, Lila Products, was founded by Gelila Gelush, an empowered woman challenging patriarchal norms in Ethiopia. Lila Products has the bold mission to fight cyclic poverty and empower resilient women to change the course of their families through dignified work at a living wage. Working mothers reinvest 90% of their income into their children, making women’s economic empowerment one of the most efficient ways to fight sexism and cyclic poverty.
